I love helping people.  I enjoy the creative process of updating a home or office space and have remodeled many of my own homes. 

​

As an Arizona native I spent my early 20's working in the home building industry, wondering if I should be doing something else for a career.  I pursued and achieved a higher education degree, receiving my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2001.  I have spent the last 20 amazing years working with patients in Arizona, California and Oregon.  After 20 years in the health care industry, my creative side has been in need of an outlet.

 

In 2019 I was presented with the opportunity to work on several home flip projects.  I earned my AZ Handyman License and spent all of my free time during the last quarter of 2019 through all of 2020 working multiple large home remodeling projects. During 2021 I ended up doing a weekend warrior style - complete gut/remodel of my own home.  Doing so, I found my happy place so much so that I have chosen to pause my full-time Medical career to help others through this business, Creative Valley Coatings, LLC.

I enjoy the simple (some would say mundane) tasks including Painting, assembling Ikea style furniture (boxed sets), installing ceiling fans, upgrading lighting (particularly to LED fixtures which save $$ over their lifespan).

​

Additionally, I have had horrible seasonal allergies all my life, and now have found and enjoy working with "green" products with my customers, finding ways to make our living spaces easier to "breathe in".  Perhaps I will blog on those in the future.
